Well, I just did not have enough time to with Transtator what I had wanted to, so I decided to try out MovableType. I wrote an exporter, so hopefully everything made it over in tact. Its sort of funny, I start using MT right after Garret moves to Blosxom. I have known other people who used that, and it never liked how it did things, but to each their own.
I am still using the default templates, but I will change things around in the next few days. I also have to go through and repair some image links.

I have been thinking about it for quite a while, but in order to get it to do what i want I need to still invest in some funky macro coding, so I decided to take my time. Now that I am actually fiddling with it I am liking it a lot more than I expected.

too bad you didn't have time to make transtator do everything you needed, but i'm sure you'll be happy with MT, it's a damn cool weblog tool.
