I finally setup a Friendster account today. It is really fascinating. What I have been looking for are "loops." People who am I am connected to through multiple disjoint groups of people. I found it pretty shocking that excluding the link through me, Barb (who I grew up next door to) and EJ (who I work with) were only one degree away from showing up in each other's personal networks, via a chain of people I have never met. Very cool. I have found a few other loops, but since I don't have many friends added yet its limited. I am pretty shocked how connected everything is. So if you know me, and your on Friendster, add me to your friend list ;-)
