I have not been working

I have not been working much on transtator's code lately. I think part of it has been that work has been more interesting lately, so I have had less of a desire to do extra. I think I will do a bit more soon since people keep pointing that .ics could be used in conjunction with iCal to post blogs. I think I will write a .ics exporter sometime, I need to dig up the specs first. I actually think there is a lot of other content that could be maintained that way, like like scraping tv listings and such.

I'm making Coca-Cola sorbet...

This weekend I got a craving for Lime Sorbet, so I ended up buying an ice cream maker, and making Lime Mango sorbet. I invited some guys from work over to watch a few episodes of Evangelion and to try the sorbet. It was pretty good, so we though we should make some more. Unfortunately I did not really have any good ingredients, but I noted that Coke already had a high sugar quantity. We kind of got goofy, and did some math to figure out how much sugar we needed to add to it to get it to set. I let the mix cool, and now it is in my ice cream maker. Much to my shock it seems to be setting. Looks like I got the math right ;-)

I went clubbing last night.

I went clubbing last night. It was fun, but I had forgotten how tiring it could be. I have been wearing sandles almost exclusively for a year, so between the amount of dancing and wearing shoes my feet were ready to kill me.

I am not sure what I am going to do with my day off tomorrow, but I think it might involve shopping for a TV stand.

I was tweaking my site's template a little bit today, which made me rev the http server to support gifs. I now have an architecture for POSTS and cgi style requests worked out, so I should be able to implement the next time I get a free night and feel motivated.
